To edit a Student ID:

  1. Log into your School Community Platform

  2. Select Users in the right hand menu

  3. Select Students

  4. Type the students name or Student ID in the search bar in the top right of the screen then hit enter

  5. Locate the student in the results and click on their name

  6. Click EDIT next to USER INFORMATION

  7. Type the network login username into the Student ID field

  8. Click SAVE

Can parents edit the Student ID?

No, this can only be edited 

Can I delete the Student ID?

No, the Student ID is a mandatory data requirement.

Why do I get an error that the Student ID is already in use?

The Student ID needs to be unique within your school’s account.  If it’s already in use you’ll need to find the other user that it’s attached to and potentially remove it from that user.

Why do I need to enter a Student ID?

The Student ID is used for features like Shared Parenting, Student Auto Enrolment which is why it is part of our minimum data requirement for a student.
