MyActivity in MySonar shows users the stats of their Internet Usage. How much Quota the have (if any), how many days of that is remaining (if applicable), their Expected usage of the internet and their Actual usage. A history of usage reports can also be downloaded in PDF format and viewed by the user. An example of what MyActivity is displayed below.

Here is a link to a video that goes over the steps mentioned in this article: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=f_-Z2fqEir8

MYACTIVITY IS REPORTING AN ERROR, WHAT CAN I DO?

If your MyActivity page is reporting that "no data has been collected at this time", this might indicate that you have not yet set up a Plan on Sonar to correlate this data. Every User on Sonar must be apart of a Plan in order for Sonar to generate MyActivity data for them (see Creating a Plan for more information).

If you have created a Plan, and MyActivity is still reporting an error, it may be that MySonar has not updated yet. MySonar only updates at certain intervals depending on what you've set the update interval to. In the GUI, under System -> System Settings, the field My Sonar Update Interval (hour) is how often MyActivity is updated. By default, 24 hours is set. But this can be changed to a minimum of 1 hour.

WHAT DOES INTERNET USAGE DATA ON MYACTIVITY MEAN?

The Internet Usage bars indicate how much data that user has used within the plan cycle. The plan cycle can be specified when you create a plan. In the example above, the plan cycle is set to 1 week, but can be set to a month, a year, or a certain time period. If the user has a Quota, it will also be specified here.

WHAT DO THE GRAPHS ON MYACTIVITY MEAN?

The Graphs on MyActivity indicate your Expected usage and your Actual usage of the internet. When you create a Plan, you have the option of specifying Compliance, which is a customisable option for Plans in which you can decide how much % of a category you expect users to be using. The Actual graphs displays how much they are actually using.

HOW DO I VIEW USAGE HISTORY?

On the left-hand side, there is list of PDFs that include the user's usage history in past plan cycles. Users can click these PDFs to bring up a report of what their past usage has been like.
